The information collected about you is information that you have provided to us by enquiring about our services or by entering a service contract with us, and you may have provided the data by email, in writing, by telephone or in person; or any updates to that information you have provided since. The legal basis we use for the processing is for the performance of a contract and to meet our legal obligations The data we collect may include the following, in accordance with the role you hold or the purposes for which you have provided the information;

  • Job title
  • Contact details, including company address, email address and contact telephone number(s)

This information is retained for the duration of your use of our service(s) plus 6 years thereafter, other than where there is a legal requirement to retain it for longer in accordance with a specified role or purpose as per the requirements of our data retention policy.

3. How is your information stored and accessed?

Your information is stored and processed using the Quest Medical secure servers and cloud-based applications. Access to this information is only provided to the following:

  • Employees of Quest Medical who are responsible for conducting services in relation to your enquiry or contract.
We do not store or transfer this data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).

4. How will Quest Medical use your information?

Quest Medical will use your personal information to maintain accurate records for contacting you for the following purposes;

  • To deliver business services as per contractual requirements
  • To answer service enquiries
  • To deal with feedback regarding our services
  • To keep you updated with news about Quest Medical

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Sharing your information

Quest Medical will not sell or disclose your information to third parties other than those needed to meet contractual or legal obligations.

The information Quest Medical holds about you will only be used for the purposes stated and will be retained in line with the requirements of our retention policy, which is available to all. Quest Medical may disclose your information to the following third parties;

  • To law enforcement agencies & authorities to prevent and detect criminal activity - this excludes private investigators. Quest Medical will not disclose Personal Data in this instance.

  • employee, volunteer and worker security training program(s);

You have several rights regarding your Personal Data, and Quest Medical upholds and complies with these rights by ensuring that you can have access, upon request, to any of the data we hold about you. You have other rights regarding your Personal Data that you may exercise if Quest Medical have no legal basis to reject your request, these rights are:

  • You may object or restrict our handling of your data.
  • You may have your data delivered to you in a portable, readable, and useable format.
  • You may have your data corrected or updated at any time if you believe the data we hold is incorrect.
  • You may have your data erased from our systems when we have no legal reason for retaining it.
